WATCH: Texas A&M's Dodson squats 675 pounds after stadium sprints

Texas A&M's Tyrel Dodson is putting in some major work this offseason.

The sophomore linebacker squatted an absurd 675 pounds on Friday in the Aggies' weight room.

If that's not impressive enough, his squat came after doing stadium sprints, according to teammate Ikenna Okeke, who videotaped the scene.

Another angle:

Take a look at how the bar's bending from all that applied weight. That's some serious strength from the 6-2, 245-pound linebacker.

Dodson finished with 27 tackles and a fumble recovery in 13 games off the bench as a freshman in 2016. Entering 2017, he's expected to take on a much larger role at the heart of the Aggies defense.

If his workout regimen is any indication, Dodson is ready for that next step.
